Lately, I've been waking up with an aching uterus (like the cramps you feel right before you're period) however, I already had my period this month, it was about 10 days ago. I have no other PMS symptoms, just the cramps. I'm pretty concerned and I'm not able to visit a doctor anytime soon because I'm out of the country. Any ideas? Answer:I'm pretty sure you are feeling ovulation cramps. The average monthly cycle lasts 30 days. One generally ovulates 10-15 days into the cycle. A lot of people can feel the cramping from the ovary releasing the egg. I can, I can usually tell which ovary is working that particular month. It will be a great tool to have when you are trying to conceive someday, if you're not already. It's annoying now but you'll be glad you can sense it someday. Hope that helps! |
