well, if you're a man then there shouldn't be a problem as most men use urinals. However, if you don't feel comfortable doing this is front of her or anybody else then just say so and use a cubicle. Also, if your girlfriend is going into a male bathroom she should respect other men and not go in if there is anybody else using them. If you're a woman then it is possible to pee standing up but it takes a lot of practise so I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't perfected the technique or it may get messy!
