I read that if you are taking valerian during the day to cut the dose in half but i tried it and I still felt anxious. I really dont care if it effects my performance and i get a little drowsy. I just want to take it for tomorrow (im not performing anything anyway). So would that settle my nerves? Btw im 16 and in high school. i know valerian is safe for children.

Valerian is said to be good as well for manic depression..bringing you down when you are manic and up when you are down. It aids sleep also. One generally takes it at night as it makes one sleepy.
