I developed allergies to cats and dust a couple years ago (I am 36). I have heard that getting it later on in life is worse than having it from birth. It is destroying my life - if I don't take an allergy pill each day I sneeze uncontrollably. Nasal steriods take away my abilit to smell/taste. I am considering acupunture. Has anyone had any experience with accupunture curing their allergies, and how long did it take to work? Answer:Yes it does, I haven't had an allergy break out since my aunty treated me. I am allergic to the sugar can flowers and when you live in an area surrounding by 100's of hectares. Just remember it may take a couple of session than a once every few months. Talk to your accupunturist they will explain how it works and the best schedule for treatment. i did accupunture once, but not for allergies though well i had a cold and it went away completly and never came back accupunture is something that relieves all or some tentions in the body depending on where the needle pin points I've never heard of acupuncture being good for allergies. Acupuncture works best if you need to improve the energy flow or "qi" in you. It helps for problems like headaches, poor blood circulation, skin problems and arthritis. In any case, here is a reference section on acupuncture http://www.healthandwellnesscentral.com/... I used to have severe allergies, but now I drink 2-3 gallons of water per day. If you can, pick up the book: you're not sick, you're thirsty. It will describe in detail how water will really help you. Now I am allergy free. I was also addicted to nose spray, but now I am nose spray free as well. Also read the apple cider vinegar cures website. |
