why am i gaining weight if I am excerisizing Answer:You have actually gained muscle and trimmed inches off your body, thats why your weight has increased, but if you measure your waist, legs and arms etc. they have lost inches. If you're working out, dont go by your weight, go by the measurements of your body, they are the true tell tale signs that you are doing something right! Hope this helped! :) u r gaining muscle, heavier than fat hence weight gain. muscle means a more toned body, so clothes feel looser! Muscle weighs more than fat. muscle weighs more than fat if you are fit you are probably gaining weight because you are gainning muscle...never go for the pounds, go with how many inches you loose. Because you are turning fat into muscle! Fat weighs less, but takes up more space (less dense) muscle weighs more but takes up less space (more dense) A plus to converting fat to lean? Muscle burns more calories, so it is a positive feedback cycle. muscle weighs more than fat When you exercise you burn fat and gain new muscle. Your clothes will fit looser but you will have more muscle so your weight might not change or even go up! Simple, muscle weighs more than fat. You're building muscle therefore the weight is such. You're losing fat so your clothes are looser. i would say it's because your losing weight in some places of your body, while gaining muscle in other parts. so it seems as if your clothes are looser. also, you weigh more because muscle weighs more than fat...so when you build muscle, it is better for you because people will be able to tell you lost fat. Not to worry. You're losing fat but gaining muscle. Muscle weight is heavy. Keep going. Sure. Muscle is more compact (heavier than fat). When you build muscle and lose fat; your weight can go up slightly and feel slimmer. |
