  Answer:

One that doesn't OD you , some where near the RDA

IE B-12 RDA in 2.4 units not 50 or 1,000

Vt B-6 RDA is 2 not 50 You just P out the excess "Best" is a subjective term. Everyone's needs are different. I tend to error on the side of high potency and if I wind up excreting a little, or even a lot, the price isn't gong to kill me.

Personal preference for me are those higher potency multiples that are manufactured and sold by publicly traded pharmaceutical companies.

The reason is they have so much exposure to regulatory agencies due to their Rx business, that they cant afford to make mistakes with the OTC vitamins. So Centrum and One a Day are reliable brands.

I also like Puritan's Pride (catalog). This is a division of a big publicly traded company -Nature's Bounty-that does pretty good job of getting things right and doing it cost-effectively.

All of the above is my opinion only. You'll just have to see what works best for you. I use a product called Intramax. A liquid 100%organic vitamin and mineral supplement. The main difference between the various types of multi-vitamin is the quality of the ingredients. The doctor that created this vitamin and mineral supplement designed so that everyone can take it regardless of the state of your health. Please do talk with your dr or pharmacist about it especially if taking medication and/or thinking of taking herbs, but I happen to like Twinlab multivitamin/mineral capsules. It's not one of the less expensive brands, but it is a capsule which is supposed to absorb better into the bloodstream as opposed to a tablet.
