I was given a few quick remedies such as Gargling with salt water or mincing a couple cloves of garlic a bout a half a honey bear and a tablespoon of cayenne pepper. another is to take a honey vinegar mixture. Drink lemon juice. I found an ebook that says to make a currant tea by pouring boiling water over a tablespoon of currant jam or jelly. it also said to meal an apple and eat by the tablespoon hold it there in your throat as long as you can. there is a tea out called throat coat. Try that. I found the garlic cayenne & Honey to be the best for me. Tasted like crap, but my sore throat is gone! Just be sure you run a lot of fruit juices in you especially ones packe with vitamin C. Good Luck! Edit: The Garlic Honey & cayenne is a recipe for several doses Refrigerate take 1 tablespoon every hour. If it doesn't ease up in a day or 2 see your doctor again. |
