Answer:
Reiki is a form of spiritual practice, used as a complementary therapy, proposed for the treatment of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual diseases. Mikao Usui developed Reiki in early 20th century Japan, where he said he received the ability of 'healing without energy depletion' after three weeks of fasting and meditating on Mount Kurama. Practitioners use a technique similar to the laying on of hands as well as gestures in the air, which they say will channel "healing energy" (ki). Practitioners state that energy flows through their palms to bring about healing and that the method can be used for self-treatment as well as treatment of others. you mean reiki energy healing? i know very very little so i won't say much but it's getting popular and you could probably found a class near you if you're interested. i heard it works but google it Yes it鈥檚 called Reiki. I have used it and found it very comforting. I say comforting as I am not sure that it actually 'cures' anything but it does always leave you after a session with a sense of well being and calm which is beneficial even if your original problem is not actually cured - so it is worth it for this alone. I used it when I had Post Natal Illness and it was a struggle to get through the next day - a session of Reiki would leave me calm and able to cope better for a few days to a week. I used it again when I had a major horse riding accident which rendered me very disabled and in a wheelchair for some years until I was able to have an operation which did not 'cure ' me but made me more mobile. |
