You need to find fats like Sesame oil and corn oil that are monosaturated and are easily digestible in the human body. Sugar tastes good, but it's not really good for you. When we talk about what we do with carbs, calories or sugar, we talk about it burning. That in itself should tell you something about the nature of refined sugars and what they do to the body. If you want something sweet, eat fruit, but eat it sparingly. In the long run, a diet change will help your body to heal itself and you won't have problems with acid reflux anymore.
