Did it work, and did your insurance cover it?

I had the surgery. My insurance did cover it, but at the time I was in the union (great insurance) BUT...it did not work. I have what they call failed back syndrome. That is what they call it when the surgery does not work. I later had cervical decompression on my neck, I am still waiting on the results. 7/10 people who have this surgery say it doesn't work, and they should have never done it. Those who it worked for, say they shouldn't have waited so long. Either way, get someone good. This is your spine. Risks are paralization, & even death. I'm not sorry I did it, I just wish it had worked for me. Good luck, BUT PLEASE...research for the best Dr. I had one of the best in the country, and it still didn't work, BUT I had NO complications. Because he was well qualified.
