Answer:

Try using a creme, lotions usually won't work for severe dry skin. I had some and I used Neutrogena overnight lavendar and chamomille cream. It comes in a small green cylinder shaped container, its a bit expensive but it helped. Also you can try some cortizone...that helped the itchiness. Whatever you use, make sure it is not oil based! Good luck! Us Vaselin for dry skin It works keep your skin moist with just about any skin cream on

the market. I like stuff with lanolin and/or aloe base. I PROMISE you..this is so simple but it will forever take care of the problem. Run a very warm bath, pour a couple of capfuls or teaspoons of good ol' Baby Oil in it and bathe in that at least two or three times a week. You will never have dry skin again! Brand Name Baby oil is best, the others seem kind of thin or something. Try it,,,you'll see! neem oil, and walgren's after sun lotion with aloe and tea tree oil. they are both miraculous. read tips on skincare and home remedies to help you more on this site Try this....use a loofa to exfoliate your skin with a moisturizing body soap. Then while your skin is still warm and damp, mix some over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream with Eucerin cream (use the cream, not the lotion) and apply to your dry skin areas. After a week you should see an improvement. This works...i've used it on my daughter. Good luck!
