Answer:
Once again we have unqualified opinions. IF a diabetic is having problems regulating their blood sugar and IF a diabetic is having circulatory or neuropathy problems as a result, then they should be very careful with anything to do with their feet. On the other hand, if a diabetic is doing a good job of taking proper care of theirself and if their blood sugar is okay and if they're not having circulatory problems or neuropathy problems, then they can do pretty much whatever they want with their feet as any normal person would. Ions are present everywhere, btw. 搂 Because the manufacturer has a liability in case of injury - diabetics often have bad circulation in the extremities and are not supposed to put their feet in things that could injure delicate tissue. Most diabetics have nerve problems; especially in the extremities (hands/feet). The Deltox ion generator runs electrical ions into your body; it actually harms nerves; I don't think diabetics need any extra nerver-harming assitants. If a diabetic uses that; it would increase burns and frostbites (how?) because if the diabetic uses it and loses nerves in his/her feet; he'll/she'll still be able to use his/her feet but he/she won't feel whether the feet are far too cold (in the winter time) or whether they are far too hot (in the summer time) That may not seem like a problem -- you may say; all the better; less pain. But if a diabetic walks in *very very hot* asphalt (in the summer streets) they can burn the bottom of their feet and not feel it!! they can end up developing Gangreen and have to have their feet amputated. Same with the winter time; if they get frozen because the diabetic is wearing light shoes in the snow because his feet dont get cold; he can develop permanent frostbite; and then also result to an amputation of the feet. |
