Answer:
I am 68 and I snore. I have no problem. Try changing positions, and use hard pillows. Drink more water before you go to bed. Have a fruit and always think, what if I snore, and sleep off. Practise this for 15 days. you will get good results.Good luck. My husband has these special ear plugs that he uses for work, get her some of those. He cant hear anything. if you are overweight, you need to lose weight; if not, try to exercise more and go to bed early. try using some breath right strips. it will open up your nasal passages and help you breath through your nose so you dont snore.you can get them at most department stores or any pharmacy Have you tried any of the Breathe Rite strips? Ive' heard they work quite well. Otherwise, my older brother just had a surgical procedure performed. It's worked wonders for him, but I'm not sure if it's something you want to proceed at this time. Snoring is cause by the position you are in when you sleep but also by your weight. Try exercising and losing weight if you have some extra. Also try to sleep on your side as opposed to your back. Make sure you have a good pillow. Snoring also occurs when you are too deep asleep, and this might lead to the fatal sleep apnea. Are you the one catching yourself snoring or does she tell you the next morning ? If you are the one catching yourself it's a good sign you are aware and awake when it happens but if not, that's dangerous. And you might want to talk to a doctor about it. |
