hi, i just got back from the doctor today because i recently got some really bad sores and bumps (Down there) i am a girl BTW. and she told me that she is like 90% sure i have herpes. I am only 16 years old. and i have never ever ever ever had intercourse, oral or ANYTHING to do with that. There is no way i could have gotten it that way. i am hoping it is some kind of infection. BUt she doesnt know what it would me.THat is why right now i am so confused. and scared. Because i am so young and i got to the doc becasues i think i have a yeast infec or something. But the doctor tell me i probably have herpes... I just frusterates me. I am going to get the results back tommorow. But if i do have herpes, i guess there is another way to get it other than that. Because i am a ver very good girl and i have never done anything like that in my life. and my parents know that. I dont know what i am seeking by getting on here. But maybe just some nice words or comments. Thanks

First of all, do not worry so much even what you are experiencing is herpes. Second, wait until the result comes back. Third, if that is herpes, forget about how you contract it. Consider how you will prevent passing it to the others and how you will treat it to reduce the frequency of outbreak and the duration of outbreak.

I know it's so strange that you have no sexual activities at all and the doctor told you it's herpes because herpes is sexual transmitted disease as many described. However, herpes can transmitted by skin to skin contact without sexual activities and intercourse or oral.
