Answer:

Get to a Doctor ASAP! Your symptoms could be The start of Diabetes, Hypertension (blood pressure), Hopefully all is well.

Also, if you are drinking soda, STOP right away! I was overweight seven years ago, & after I gave up sodas, my weight dropped like a rock, & I have never felt better. Get yourself checked out though, & let me know if all goes well with you. Good Luck.

To the one below me:

It can't be pregnacy, you D.A. Yes please have your doctor check you out for high blood pressure. The swollen hands and sweating, not to mention the pain in your head all would seem to be hypertension. Go see your doctor ASAP. You should not depend on advice from a lay person. No.

I have high blood pressure, but the sympotoms you just described are not typical high blood pressure sympotoms, although they are similar. Go to see a doc quick !! Maybe and maybe not, but the symptoms tell me that you should see your doctor pronto. Good luck. could be high blood pressure, just buy yourself a blood pressure monitor, was it recent wt gain? if it was acute gain (i.e over a few weeks vs. months), could be possible edema. Swollen hands, sweating and numbness (neuropathy) may be signs of cardiac problems (angina, CHF, etc) or even elevated blood sugars (hyperglycemia) not to scare you or anything. High blood pressure rarely has any symptoms, it's more of a surrogate marker for underlying problems. Would definitely recommend seeing your doctor, especially if u have no history of diabetes or heart problems. - pharmacist How old are you? High blood pressure can occur at a relatively, young age these days, although that isn't what I'm saying I think your problem is. It could be a number of things and the best advise I have for you is to go immediately to your doctor when experiencing these symptoms...could be an anexiety attack..won't know till you go!!! Shell Any chance you might be pregnant? All of these symptoms commonly occur with pregnancy, except the dull pain in the temples. Otherwise, some of these symptoms can occur with heart disease, but pregnancy is a much better fit.
