I have fainted twice in two weeks, so I went to the docters. They gave me an EKG test. It came out negative. But they think there is something else in my heart. So they drew my blood to check to see if I have low blood sugar, etc. So by friday I will get the results from the blood thing, and to see when I get the ultrasound

I am only 14 (one month till I am 15) and I dont know what to do.

I can't run for three weeks (Since I fainted when I was running), and If I faint again, they won't let me run ever again this year.

What to do?

Answer:

It really becomes very simple. Do you want to live a long normal life? If so follow their advise. They don't make any extra money by having you die. They want to keep you alive. How about you? There are a lot of reasons you could've fainted. Are you re-hydrating when you exercise? (could be dehydration). Had you eaten recently before you ran? (could be low blood sugar). Were you having your period? (could be anemic).

Try not to panic, and concentrate on taking care of yourself. Eat well, and get plenty of sleep. And God bless you. get a 2nd opinion, you do not want to have a heart attack you will be glad if u got a 2nd opionion cause them drs ain't being straight up with u try not to panic, wait for results and take 1 day at a time As a healthcare provider I'd say don't worry about this so much right now. All that they are doing is looking out for you. The tests they are doing are being done to help determine what the cause of these episodes are. If there is a cause of real concern then it will be addresssed then. Sometimes people can be perfectly healthy and still have fainting episodes. Wait this out....it could be nothing. And if it turns out to be something to worry about...be glad that it was caught. Ok now this is going to sound weird. But my very best friend faints, all the time. She has the smallest amount of pain and she's on the floor. She get's mad and she's on the floor. She get's scaried, she is on the floor. Her mom gets upset when they call from school to say she's fainted. She tells them give a wash cloth she's fine.
