I had mine out 11 years ago and i was in the hospital for 4 days and it took 1 week before i could walk standing straight up or even sleep good, no lifting for 2 weeks , but my gall bladder was bad. Beware afterwards EVERYTHING in your body changes ALOT.. Food goes right threw you LOL Good luck ! I just had my surgery and I needed a lot of assistance for at least 2-3 days after surgery. I had staples in my stomach, so my recovery time was extended for at least a week. If you have young children and have to do lifting you are going to definitely need some help, especially if you have 4 of them you're going to have to deal with! Good luck! |
