i have asthma as well. it hurts in my back and in my chest around my ribs when i breath. it used to be occasional but for anout 6 weeks now it's been constant. i had bronchitis about a month ago. maybe it's something to do with that. im hurting i need help

I have the same thing. But when the pain wouldn't go away and it spread to the front of my chest, i went to the ER and had chest X-rays done. it turned out i had Pneumonia. I had fluid in my lungs and fractured ribs from all the coughing, which was easily accomplished due to my weight at the time. Do you use any type of inhaler? i had to do a full days worth of albuterol treatments, which ended up causing severe tremors, but after they rmoved the fluid in my lungs, i was realtively fully recovered. You might want to see a doctor about it, since none of the remedies i tried actually worked longer than a few minute.

Hope you feel better! I had trouble like that once- and the asthma and bronchitis are probably related, especially after struggling to breathe for 6 weeks.

I don't know if this will help- but have you tried a heating pad on your back and perhaps a warm moist compress on your chest?

Good luck, and feel better! I did but it's probably gas. Gas can be more wicked than the smell itself.
