Hugs I'm sorry, why would you want to lick your elbow? I'm 44 and have NEVER licked my elbow. well I can't either . I think that it depends on how you're body is structured. Do yoga and work on it if it bothers you so much My daughter can lick her elbow, but she is double-jointed. She has not found it very useful though. I have read that it is impossible to lick your elbow unless you are double-jointed. thats funny!!!.. you could if you popped your shoulder out of joint and then you would need surgery... I dont recommend it though cuz it really really hurts..鈾? Perhaps your tongue is not long enough. not being able to lick your elbow is completly normal/ you have a problem if you can lick your elbow. Yes, that is a serious problem. Get surgery immediately. You would have to have a seriously long tounge to be able to lick your elbow. Not to mention that you would never have a need to do so. Lick your knees, I imagine it'd be very similar. Most people cannot lick their elbows it is a very uncommon thing if one can, most people that actually can lick their elbow are double jointed. But not to worry, you most definitely do not need surgery. You think you're weird....I can't even wink!! You should be thankful that your arm doesn't keep falling off at the shoulder joint.

Answer to the second part: Yeah, but I hear Lobotomies are expensive. If you need to lick your elbow, you probably need to see your doc for some meds for something else... The inside or outside of your elbow? If it's the inside of your elbow you're concerned about, than yes, you do need surgery.

If it's the outside, than I would say you're OK.
