ive been itching the parts behind my leg (knee), and its gone better now, but its left this big red patch..how do i get rid of it? Without makeup and stuff.

Try aloe vera to sooth the red patch. Also look to see if Aveeno has any products that can help soothe the skin and take away the redness. you can use sarna lotion, calamine lotion.. maybe even aloe vera.. it should help Get some hydrocortisone cream (over the counter) for it. To prevent outbreaks, drink lots of water. Your skin hydrates from the inside, lotion and creams only slow the evaporation. Eczema is aggravated by dry skin. Get a humidifier for your house in winter if you need one, and don't take long hot showers. try avoiding dairy products especially eggs. treat the infected area with a good cream such as EURAX cream from chemist. it cost around 拢5.00 for a tube but it is excellent. i know as i use it myself.the itch relief of the cream last for up to 10 hours not to be used on children under three years of age. I have eczema on my hands..

Just found out that a mild antihistamine is really good to keep the itching under control.... If benydril knocks you out like it does me and you don't want to go get a script for the doc.. Try taking kids benydril to releave the itching... My palms were red like that. The redness will go away... Try to keep it moist with lotions maybe with an anti-itch lotion to help. avenno has some really good anti-itch lotion.

It may be there a couple of weeks unless you have another itch attack then of course it will take longer to go away.
