I quit smoking a little while back, and now I smell things I would have ignored when smoking, these smells are annoying and they make me worry about where and what they are.. should I go back to smoking so that I will not be so sick so often. just the smell of an open drain can make me ill. Answer:Chew some sugarless mint gum, keep some tictacs in your pocket. Or do what police and mortuary science people do, buy a jar of Vicks Vapo rub, and put a tiny dab under your nose. Don't worry, you will get used to the wold of bad smells after awhile. and just keep your environment a litttle cleaner for awhile. Some lemon juice down the drains, some saniflush toilet cakes, keep the laundry from piling up, like that. Good heavens, do not go back to smoking! You have quit, stay quit! Seriously, if you go back to it, you won't have to worry about smells! Dead people do not have to worry about smells, they can't smell! Good luck! Welcome to the world of non-smokers. I will beg of you not to start smoking again. Not only will it probably kill you, it also annoys those around you that have to smell it. You will get use to the odors in time. In the meantime, why not chew on a few peppermint candies while your sinuses gets used to the new smells in your brand new smoke free world. I think you should go to the doctor because the stuff you are saying he might help you with..... but you could care a car smell thing on your noise....lol |
