these red bumps all over my chest and arms and the top of my head, I have nnot yet been to the doctor about this because I do not have insurence and if I go to the emergency room the charge WAY to much.

I tryed using sunblock but it dont help at all I even got the strongest SPF. I dont know why this happens and its getting worse!

I also cant even go in a tanning bed because the same thing happens...... I have took benadryl but that dont work either.

So does anyone know what this might be and a way to fix it?

When I go to a Doctor they ask if I am allergic to anything. I tell them Aspirin and sometimes the Sun!

I have had this problem (I'm old but good!!!) for 40 years.

It doesn't happen all the time, usually Spring and Summer months.

I will break out, for lack of a better word, "Hives" mostly on my back. Even if I have a T-shirt on the same thing will happen. I get them on my upper arms once in a while.

They are very itchy...but in a short time...they stop itching and just leave spots. After a while, everything is OK and my skin has a blotching (redness) look..

Sometimes, when I drive my car, with my arm exposed to the Sun...that arm will get bumps and itchy.

I thought all kinds of things over the years what may be causing it...I finally concluded it is Ultra Violet Rays.
