I've always had a BIG mole about 1/3 inch away from my left nipple. It is a little larger than half the size of my nipple. As a kid, I wouldn't go to friends birthday parties if it involved swimming, or anything where I might have to take my shirt off. I remember whenever I took my shirt off in PE kids would make fun of me. The only people that know about this mole are my immediate family. I absolutely HATE fearing to take my shirt off so I went to the dermatologist and they said that I should just leave it because it would make a pretty big scar. I am not the type of person who usually worries about these kind of things; it's really only this mole. How can I learn to accept it and not be embarrassed to go swimming or walk around at the beach with my shirt off? Answer:I don't really have any advice or solution suggestions for you but I can say that I know what you are talking about. I have several "smallish" type moles that I have always been embarassed about. I have 2 on the sides of my ribcage that I tend to pick at (I know, bad habit) and sometimes its almost as if it makes them disappear. I pick the darkness off. I know this sounds strange and probably not very safe but I can't seem to help myself. I hope you are able to learn to accept this "beauty mark" and not let them affect the way you live your life. get it removed. i have 2 on my stomache and im saving up to get it removed. Since this is a problem, consult a dermatologist. It can probably be removed . Good luck. A scar sounds cool! You can make up a lie about how you got it and impress people with that. Or you can be a real guy and not give a fat rat's behind about what people think about your mole. |
