ok so i got my ears pierced like 3 to 4 months ago n ive noticed dat theyre infected...=( wat i started doing is taking them outt n washing them out with peroxiod n waited an hour n then puttin them back in..is this a good idea?? plzzz help. do u have any other suggestions?? okay....this may seem a little weird but it works! Take the earrings out first. Lick your finger and dip it in some salt and then rub the salt where ever you have the infection! Another thing that works is the little green tomatoes (the ones that many mexican people use to make salsa!) and warm them up a little either on the stove or in the microwave.....then cut it or squish it and rub it on your ear....GOOD LUCK! Hope it works! U could put some peroxiod in the ears that are pierced with a q tip and also putting ur earing in peroxiod too i had the same problem and i jus took a q tip diped it in to peroxiod and gently rubbed onto the pierced ear. Are you sure it is an infection and not an allergy. I havea nickle allergy and if I wear earrings with nickle in them my ear lobes, swell, turn red and drain like they are infected. Just a thought. After they clear up get a pair of nickle free earrings wear them for a few days, if nothing happend put a pair of regular earrings back in and if they get "infected" again you know. Good luck
