Dry skin between fingers?

I have two small patches of extremely dry skin, one patch is near my thumb, and the other near the pinky. This is on both hands. I've tired a variety of creams, none of which seemed to work. I know that it isn't from the climate, it remains at the same condition throughout the year. It appears red and deeply cracked, sometimes bleeds. Usually fairly painful, and almost feels like it is deep into the bone. I've tried a lot to heal it, but nothing has seemed to work. If anyone has any suggestions on what this might be, or how to heal it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:

I have that too. I buy Clotrimazole Cream. It is over the counter in any pharmacy. Around 10.00. I have found from the Dr. that it is actually a virus that is the same one that causes athlete's foot. But the Cream works for me. Good Luck. see a dermatologist. it doesn't sound normal or healthy! hope you get better! it could be eczema. ask your doctor. they can prescribe a steriod cream. or if you havent yet, try bacetracin. thats what i use on my eyes for eczema. Put Bag Balm on the spots at night and wrap your hands. Bag Balm is used for a variety of things including but not limited to dry cracked bleeding wounds on humans and animals. My grandfather swears by it, I have used it and they use it on cow teets when the are extremely affected by sores due to milking, weather etc. Well the Cream that would REALLY work id im sorry if i dont spell it right eurcerin Something like that you can find it at a pharmacy it cost 10.00$ or less it's for very dry skin u can pretty much use it anywere were dry skin is so... that cream would help your problem alot ...:) GOOD LUCK -DEE
