I've finally got into drinking the recommended 64oz/day of water because it's good for my health AND my skin... what else should I be using to help clear my skin from old acne marks? I've also started eating healthy. Thanks. Answer:Try treating the area with vitamin E and exfoliating once a week or getting a professional skin treatment that will exfoliate and renew your skin. Old acne scars? Nothing. They are scars. The only thing you can do for those is to see a dermatologist. They have treatment options. Dermabrasion, laser treatments. Yes, expensive. Don't put anymore scars on your face by NEVER picking/popping/squeezing your pimples. Just don't touch your face. It just spreads all the bacteria. Am going though a similar problem. In fact i have a huge pimple on my chin as i write but i only have a few blemishes that people dont really notice ... they have become lighter with the use of Neutrogena Acne mark fading peel ... you should try that along with water and multivitamins. Also rub vitamin E from the capsule onto your scars .. some people swear by that and say it works wonders. In the mean time conceal your marks with good old minerals makeup. Go on everydayminerals.com it is brilliant for acne and blemishes |
