The last time I had a milkshake I had a bad pain in the middle of my chest, right in between of my ribcage, as well as a migraine headache that lasted 2 days. I ate cheese the other day, and the same thing happened. Ibuprofen did not help my bad headache and the pharmacist said to take Gas-Ex to help with the chest pain, but that did not help one bit either. I took Pepcid as well, but no relief I eat cereal with milk in it, but I don't have any problems, though I don't drink the milk. I don't know what is the matter, maybe one of you has experienced this? Answer:if you had a milk allergy and/or lactose intolerance your symptoms would be nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, gas, bloating etc. I suspect something else is at work here. Did you check your blood pressure at all.....especially after the cheese? Have you had problems with smoked meats or sausages? Are you on any prescription medications? Get back to me on this one. Perhaps I can help. It sounds like you could be lactose intolerant.Cut out all dairy products and see if that doesn't help.(except your milk in you cereal) Go to web med and type in lactose intolerant and see what they have to say. not all food allergies are permanant. your body is a complex machine. try cutting one of the suspicious items out for one month, and keep notes about the effects, this way you can narrow your search down to a specific item, or it may be just a specific reaction to something else you've eaten. Don't panic! Milk is a highly food allergy. U may want to take benedrly first. try not eating milk products for 2 weeks. if you don't have these symptoms, then you have a food allergy. change your diet accordingly. It sounds like maybe lactose intolerance. Buy some lactase pills (Lactaid), and take one before eating dairy, see what happens. If that doesn't work, go to a doctor. |
