some times i think ive lost my mind i have so many symptoms just curious whats some of yours if i know that then maybee im not completely crazy,i was taking 100 mil grams of levothyroxine they changed it to 150 mil i think its making me sick Answer:With increases and you still aren't feeling well, it's probably because you need a different thyroid medication. Many of us are that way. I started out on Levoxyl (T4). It did nothing for my symptoms, only lowered the TSH. I'm on Armour (T4/T3) now and feel so much better. I'll post a few sites on Armour thyroid for you to check out. Learn as much as you can about hypothyroidism, as that's the key to getting the best care Go to Yahoo group: Thyroid_Support_Groups-USA http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/thy... It's not making you sick. Because the meds they are giving you are replacing what your body reproduces anyway. Your thyroid might be going up and down so you'll prolly need to see the doctor every two months. I 've had it for about two yrs. it;s up and down so I go quite often. Are you taking any other med? thats the only way you would get sick to the stomach. There is certain meds that conflict with some meds. check with your doc before takin anything different and check your blood at the lab. Docs say it can be very dangereous if it gets too low .So make sure you have it under controlled and monitored. Hope this helps! |
