I have acne and my mom bought me sum stuff from Mary Kay that is for acne. Does that stuff really work?

Like It has been said before, in order for Mary Kay products to work properly you have to use the whole set. Like if you got the classic like use the whole line and you will see results with your acne. I had Terrible acne when I was in High school and I used the Velociy Face wash and Moisterizer and the Acne Gel and now my face is Totally clear.

I did get results, the sets back to it (and I assume all treatments) If I missed washing my face I would have a breakout. No. It doesnt. and it also reacts with other chemicals.... like clorine (spelling) and will make the skin on your face peel.

Just try peroxide and a mosterizing lotion... it works SOO much better. Mary Kay products work wonders if you use the whole set on your face. If you use tons of different products, they say you're creating "chemical warfare" on your face. That's because products are made to work with other products of the same brand. The whole idea is buy all of their products and have great results, or buy one of their products and have sometimes mediocre results. Tell this to your mom too. Maybe you should go to the dermatologist and see what they give you for it. I dont think any acne products that are sold work for your skin. I think they make it a lot worst. I mean if you have a few pimples or zits, it may work. But if you have acne, you need to see a skin doctor and have something perscribed, like an anti-biotic and a topical cream or gel. I suggest Ziana- a new acne gel. It works! Also, ask about minocycline or accutane if its really bad. In the meantime, wash your face with cool water, never hot! And dont use scrubs or toners, they will aggrivate it more. Try Cetaphil face wash and moisturizer. They are mild and gentle.
