Answer:
they are testing a vaccine right now to prevent HIV/AIDS but it's going to be a while to see if it works. it was just in the health news about 3 weeks ago. it only works for people that don't have it though. so business women are testing this out in countries that is high for that. (you know they get pay for sex). but they think they found something that you can't get it. it's only hopes though. we will see in the next couple of years!! pharmaceutical company's are publicly traded, the government can't force them to do anything that isn't described under law. they also do most of the R&D for disease and illness. there is no money in a cure, treatments make big money. While you're at it, push for a cure for cancer and for the common cold. And the bird flu because that's coming. C'mon now! You're being very silly. If you think they haven't been working hard since AIDS first started killing people, you're outta your mind. I think they are already working in it, but pushing them might help for early cure The major problem with HIV and other viruses is that they are viruses. Viruses change and mutate. There are some anti-viral on the market, but the best cure for viruses is prevention and vaccination. Vaccination is impossible for HIV because of how the virus works so we must use prevention. Medicine is not at a point where HIV can be cured. If it was there would be a long list of Viruses that we could cure as well. |
