i was born with cerebal palsy and have been living with it for 28 years. it affects my left arm and both my legs. i walk with a little more than a limp but refuse to go on a wheel chair for now. i get around. i am a confident spastic to society. i am in my point of life where i would like to find a long term relationship and perhaps start a family. i am independant and work for myself. i value intelligence in women, everything else is a bonus. i have tried libraries, church, cafe, friends homes and meet girls who offer attention, conversation, phone numbers, email address but i'm having it hard to go any further. i feel i am getting old faster than before.

Answer:

You may want to try a place where other palsy patients congregate. That would be your best bet. It's unlikely that anyone would want to take on your handicap in a relationship. Keep on truckin', brother.

Fight off the wheelchair for as long as you can and be self confident in everything you do. There are those of us who don't have your health issues who still have a hard time finding that special someone. There is someone out there for you. Continue to pray, but stop looking so hard and she'll be there. Unfortunately, as I was reading today in fact the young generation is into appearance BIG TIME. Being a realistic guy nobody has to tell you what a rough road your on. I don't have any advise either. With your attitude and determination I'm sure someone will see you as you really are. When the right one comes along you will know it God has someone special for you and wait in his time You r doing just great.I wish there were more people with ur outlook. Get out of that wrong feeling of getting old faster. Its just a passing thought.
