I don't know if I need to change all my underwares. I am following treatement for being diagnosted with UTI

Answer:

There is no correlation to you're UTI and what you wear if you are a man...however if you are a woman...wearing clean underclothes is preferable as retrograde spread of infection is commoner dur to the shorter length of urethra!

med student You definitely should wear 100% cotton underware. Stay away from silk and other synthetic materials. No, the bacteria does not go onto your underwear. It is in your urinary tract. Just wear clean underwear each day. You don't need to throw them away, just regular laundry.

The most important thing is to drink a lot of water/juice, and take the medicine exactly as prescribed and finish the entire prescription. no you do not need to change them as far as buying new ones. You might need to change them more as for you might have a order. I no what your going through I had one of those my self and there very pain full. No, and I don't agree with the 100% cotton undeware. Research is showing that cotton holds moisture whereas nylon dries more quickly. If you find that irritation from moisture is contributing to infections cut the cotton crotch out or buy microfiber ones geared toward athletes (although these are expensive so I cut out the cotton crotch). Also, drink a lot of water, and make sure to pee after sex to flush out bacteria and wipe after a BM from front to back.
