Answer:I've always taken a wash cloth and dampened it with water and put it in the microwave at 15sec. and then applied it to the area.(always check the temperture before applying) Heating pads will work, but I've always liked the moisture of the damp cloth. washcloth heated in a microwave. be careful not to burn her. treat with pain meds, too- advil or tylenol. OH MY GOD!! You have a kid? A warm compress is like a warm damp rag. I guess a heating pad on low would suffice also. Good God. hi! A small hot water bottle filled with very hot water. Wrap the bottle in a towel and have your daughter place her head on it. If you havent got a hot water bottle, use a warm cloth. When the cloth cools, just get it wet again with hot water. Squeeze out the water!! ~A decongestant works well for ear pain. I hope she feels well again soon! |
